August 7, 2019 - Day 13 - Theodore Roosevelt National Park

August 7, 2019  - Day 15 - Theodore Roosevelt National Park

Went back to the park and did more sight-seeing.  We climbed a very steep hill but the view at the top was spectacular.

There is a train track  about  a quarter of a mile from the campground  and multiple trains pass through daily. It seemed that every time we walked into town we had to wait for a train to pass. I counted over a hundred cars on this particular train.

Another view from the hill top

We stopped at another local restaurant

Cowboy Cafe

for lunch. Can't remember what we had but it was good.

Home on top of a mountain overlooking the National Park

We stopped t buy tickets to the Medora Musical and Ron had to get  a picture in front of the dancing girls poster. lol

Looking good Ron

We bought tickets to the show that evening. It is held outside and the weather was beautiful. The stage opens up during the performance. It was a great show.

We really enjoyed the show and were totally impressed by the positive response from the audience and of the actors in regards to their patriotism when the National Anthem was played.  During the show white steeds came down with their riders carrying American flags. Then a huge fireworks display  ended a great evening.
