August 4, 2019 - day 10- A Prairie Breeze RV park, Menoken. ND
We had hoped to stop at The Mall of America on the way to Theodore Roosevelt National Park but had to change our plans. Weekends are brutal and we were unable to find a campground anywhere near the Mall. I tried several campgrounds as far away as fifty miles without any luck. So despite our not wanting to stay in a rest area we had no choice.
Kasey liked it because she was able to take a long walk with us. As the night progressed the noise from running trucks kept us awake.Tough night for us. Hope we won't have to do this again, but I wouldn't bet on it.
August 4, 2019 - A Prairie Breeze RV Park - Menoken, North Dakota
We have finally made it to North Dakota the last state in the lower 48 for us to travel through in our MH. We were fortunate to get a camp site for the night. We were hoping to get a good night sleep as far away from a rest area as possible.
This was a really nice CG out in the middle of nowhere right off the highway. Full hook-ups for $25.00 a night. Very quiet and very beautiful surrounded by hay fields. Definitely slept great that night.
